How girls and boys experience and evaluate their own bodies has a major impact on their self-esteem and attitude towards life. Dealing responsibly with health, sexuality and fertility can only succeed if young people treat their bodies with respect and appreciation.

About the event
Lecture for parents: "When girls become women"
The lecture is part of the project and takes place before the workshop. It is aimed at the girls' parents and other interested parties. On this evening, the participants are introduced to the fascinating menstrual cycle in women and the changes during puberty in an appreciative manner. Experience shows that the girls benefit more from the workshop if the parents also deal with the topic in detail beforehand, create a common foundation in terms of their knowledge, can speak a common language (appreciative terms) and know the course leader.

The girls playfully experience how a child is born, slip into the role of the various hormones and, as detectives, decode the secret codes of their own bodies. In this way they understand what triggers the changes during puberty and why the egg cell dares to take the leap…
